The Chestnut Square Dialysis Center (formerly Rotunda Center) was IDF’s first facility and offers Hemodialysis. Since its opening in 1979, it has gone through several renovations and expansions, ending with the 2003 move to a new building owned by the Foundation.

The Garrett Dialysis Center was opened in October 2006 for outpatient hemodialysis. The facility is the first and only dialysis unit in Garrett County, Maryland, and serves ESRD patients who live in Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The opening of this facility has greatly decreased the travel time of patients who previously had driven up to four hours round trip for hemodialysis.
